Broker Profile Settings

Your Broker Profile & Account Settings

This guide explains how brokers manage their personal profile, organization access, and login settings in MonarkHQ.

1. Access Your Profile

You can access your profile in either of these ways:

  1. Click Profile in the sidebar, or
  2. Go to Settings → Profile

Profile Information

Your profile includes:

  • Full name (displayed to employers and carriers)
  • Email address (used for login)
  • User type (broker, carrier rep, employer)
  • Account creation date
  • Organization memberships

2. Edit Your Profile

Editable Fields

Update Your Name

  1. Open Profile
  2. Edit your Full Name
  3. Click Save Changes

Multiple Organizations

If you belong to more than one organization, your profile shows:

  • Each organization
  • Your role in each
  • Join date
  • Current active organization

Switching Organizations

To change which organization you’re working in:

  1. Click the organization name in the sidebar/header
  2. Select a different organization
  3. The dashboard reloads with that organization’s data

3. Update Your Notifications

You may receive email notifications for:

  • Carrier offer submissions
  • Employer proposal activity
  • Team invitations
  • Organization updates
  • System announcements

If notification preferences are available, they appear in Profile settings.

4. Manage Account Access & Security

MonarkHQ uses secure, email-based login:

  • No passwords to manage
  • Your email is your identity
  • Login links are time-limited and encrypted

Changing Your Email Address

Email changes require support:

  1. Contact MonarkHQ support
  2. Request the email update
  3. Verify your identity if prompted

Signing Out

To sign out of your account:

  1. Click your avatar or name in the header
  2. Select Sign Out

This is recommended when using shared or public computers.

Troubleshooting

I can’t edit my name

  • Make sure you clicked Save Changes
  • Refresh the page and try again

I can’t switch organizations

  • Confirm you’re a member of more than one organization
  • Ask an Owner to invite you if needed

I need to change my email

  • Email changes are handled by support only
